Founder

Andy Shin is the founder and CEO of WebScho. Even though he attended his final year of high school in South Carolina, he considers himself a Georgia native having spent his formative years of middle and most of high school in Rome, Georgia. He recently passed the Georgia bar exam after graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law. By scoring in the 99th percentile on the PSAT, he became a national merit scholar in high school, which provided him thousands of dollars in scholarships. He also scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and ACT, which helped him earn full tuition scholarships to Duke, Emory, and Furman University.

His experience with tutoring began in high school when friends asked him to coach them on standardized tests. Since then, he has amassed over ten years of teaching experience and has had tremendous success in improving his students’ test scores on the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. He has developed a comprehensive study guide for success, which can be adapted to individual students. He is WebScho’s primary instructor.
